I've been wanting to update the Original Art section of my website, but never have the time. But, I've been looking at how easy it is to do it with a gallery on the comicartfans.com website -- it's super easy and fast, so I'm going to finally put up some of the artwork from the books I've done at Marvel this year. Book of the Year

This Wednesday, 10/21, Vigilante #11 hits the shelves -- with JP Leon doing finishes over Walter Simonson! Holy smokes!! I haven't been looking forward to a single comic book like this in ages. I saw a little sneak peek recently and I couldn't be more excited -- there's nothing more fun than seeing 2 artists collaborate like that! So, keep your eyes open for this book on Wednesday -- grab a copy before it's gone!

AVENGERS Cover Auction!

Hey gang! I've put the original artwork for the Avengers cover with Spidey, Wolverine, Cap, and Thor on ebay -- CLICK HERE for the new auctions!


There's a Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends page and the last Marvel Masterpieces Sketch Card up now, too. I'm finally buying a new printer for the studio, so ebay will help ease the pain!

Things are good here -- just crazy busy with the workload, so I'm thankful for that. Hopefully I'll get more updates coming soon!

Mini MegaCon Schedule

Hey folks,

For those that are coming down to the Mini MegaCon next weekend, August 22-23, I'll be appearing in the special guest area, booth 423. Doors open at 10am on Saturday, and I'll be there signing and doing con sketches. See the previous post to grab your spot!

Saturday at 12:30, I'll be appearing at the Hero Initiative booth doing head shots and busts to raise money for a great charity. Track me down there if that's what you're looking for -- I probably won't be able to do quick sketches like that during the rest of the show.

On Sunday, I'll be doing a panel from 10:50- 11:40 in Room 230 B:

Pen & Ink Panel: The Art of Drawing Comics

This panel is for everyone that ever wanted to learn the basics of comic book illustration brought to you by the top talents in the field. Go behind the scenes and learn the techniques that can not only sharpen your skills, but might one day lead to a successful career in comics.

Mini MegaCon!

August 22-23, I'll be appearing at the Mini MegaCon right here in Orlando, FL! I'll be promoting the Exiles stuff (which should all be out before the show) and Exiles writer Jeff Parker will be appearing as well. So, come on down!

I'm going to go ahead and open the advance Sketch List now, so if you want to get a sketch at the show, shoot me an email, and we'll set it up. The price is $65, it's pencils only, on 11x17 bristol board. This worked great for Heroes and FX -- I was able to get to a lot more people than usual and it kept the stress-level pretty low. So, get in touch -- this will be the last convention of the year for me!
